Galerie64 Atelier was created by Rose Marie Bellemur, fine artist and independent curator, who for years has been working on developing new alternative proposals where to explore all dimensions of visual arts.
She presents a particular cycle of art exhibitions, both collective and individual, aiming to summarize a way of contribution to the exhibition, appreciation and social acceptance of the contemporary visual productions, paying attention in particular to the artwork realized by the artists.
The artwork exhibited is articulated through a new curatorial line that turns the exhibition space into a conceptual one, with a critical support which, from personal interpretative processes, studies in depth the theoretical reflections.
This cycle of events allows the public to connect with works realized with traditional techniques (drawing, sculpture, painting, engraving…) but also with non-conventional or more experimental media (video, installations, performances, design).
Galerie64 Atelier is located in the heart of the Basque town of Hendaye (64), south west of France. Beautifully surrounded by the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean, dominated by the majestic Chateau de L’Abbadia and overlooking the Bidassoa Bay, Hendaye is a town respectful of the environment and the ecology.
